Description
Interceptor Plus comes in chewable tablet form and offers 30 days of protection against heartworm, roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, and tapeworm. To be prescribed this medication, your dog must have had a heartworm test within the last 12 months. Interceptor Plus must be given monthly to keep your pet fully protected, and is safe for dogs and puppies over 2 lbs. and over 6 weeks of age.
Possible side effects include vomiting, diarrhea, depression, convulsions, excessive salivation, and weakness. Contact your veterinarian immediately if your pet is having any of these reactions following their treatment.
